Ghostwriting and ghostwriters have been plying their trade, in one form or another, for millennia. Ever wonder who wrote the Old Testament? Well, it wasn't usually the prophet whose name was on a particular book (like Amos); rather, it was an unnamed scribe who took other people's written and verbal accounts and wrote a particular book or set of books. Many other famous historical accounts were written with a scribe or ghostwriter's help as well.

Meet your ghostwriter

Yes, by virtue of our very name, we ghostwriters dwell in the background, unnamed and usually unknown. We're pretty much invisible, as the name implies.

And I like being in the background and not attracting attention, but I can let you in on a little about me.

I was a technical writer and business writer for a number of years; I've lived overseas, I love reading, writing, and the arts, and I prefer living close to a coast.

I also believe that books are not dead and that good writing is still so important.
